Redwood Trees in Jedediah Smith State Park
Redwood trees dwarf other vegetation in Jedediah Smith State Park, California.

Probably the biggest thing I learned about spending four weeks on the road is not to spend four weeks trying to cover most of the American West. In a sense, it turned out to be a trip to whet my appetite for other places that I’ll definitely be getting back to since I didn’t have enough time to fully appreciate them. One such place was Jedediah Smith State Park in Northern California. The redwood trees in this area are indescribable. They’re simply one of those things that you have to see in order to appreciate the immenseness of each and every redwood in the area.
