Sunset Over the Alabama Hills and Inyo Mountains, California

The evening sky lights up over the Inyo Mountains and Alabama Hills in eastern California.

Easily one of my favorite places over the entire trip was the Alabama Hills in eastern California. In addition to that, both the sunset and sunrise display were the most memorable of the entire trip. I got there just in time for sunset to light up the clouds and found incredible scenery around every turn on my way to the campground. This is definitely a spot I’ll be returning to sooner than later.
