After running from the dust storm in Death Valley National Park, I made my way down Joshua Tree National Park where the wind was just as brutal, but given that I was now 4000 feet higher, it was much colder. I was fortunate enough to meet up with a couple of other Jackson Hole residents and we all wound up against the weather and decided to head into town for dinner. This shot was at dusk just before leaving the Ryan Campground. Joshua Tree National Park is definitely a very fun place to visit and I’m sure I’ll be back there at some point. I just hope the weather’s a bit more cooperative next time.
