Jackson Peak in the Last Light of Day

Jackson Peak in the Last Light of Day
The last light of day hits the summit of Jackson Peak, high above Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

One reason I love winter so much is seeing the different colors of the beginnings and ends of the days on snow-covered peaks. This particular one is of Jackson Peak as I was driving along the northern end of the National Elk Refuge. I had been getting a few of the Sleeping Indian when I noticed Jackson Peak was perfectly framed in a cottonwood tree in perfect light just waiting to have its picture taken.
