Elk Beneath Sheep Mountain

An elk stands beneath Sheep Mountain, aka The Sleeping Indian, in the northern National Elk Refuge, Wyoming.

This elk cooperated with me perfectly.  While he was standing behind the tree barely in the photo on the right, I wished and hoped that he would make his way out just a bit and stand beneath Sheep Mountain, or as it’s unofficially called, Sleeping Indian Mountain.
