Fall Colors Along Vernal Falls Trail, Yosemite National Park

Not even intending to do it, I timed my visit to Yosemite National Park perfectly with the peak of fall colors there. While there, I did the Vernal Falls Trail which, after crossing the Merced River, was completely covered in fall leaves. Maple trees are all over Yosemite Valley and with all of them at their peak of the fall season, it made for quite the display virtually all over the valley.
