One of my favorite places on Earth is southern Utah; a vast expanse of unaltered desert beauty that is as unique as anything you’ll find elsewhere on the planet. I was traveling along Highway 95 on my way into Capital Reef National Park when the highway took a dramatically scenic turn while in the vicinity of Lake Powell. Huge canyons surrounded by massive mountains, and Highway 95 traveling up and down alongside the lake with each turn providing a more incredible view than the last.
